Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Stephen M — 20 Mar 2008
It's a fascinating story, one which I had never heard, and the film makes you interested in it - it's just a shame that the mystery is never solved, leaving the audience waiting for the other shoe to drop.
It is, though, ongoing proof of the enormity of Adrian Brody's talent, the inability to contain Diane Lane's continuing growth to megastardom an absolute proof that Ben Affleck IS a GOOD actor!
Worth noting: Robin Tunney's customary good performance and really subtle and accurate costuming.
