Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Masorad ( — 13 Apr 2008
Rather pedestrian effort at retelling a marginal tale from the annals of Hollywood Babylon, the early demise of George 'TV-Superman' Reeves. A better director would have amped up the unreality of these people's lives, drawn greater contrasts between the TV superhero and Reeves the man, and perhaps cast someone believable as a shamus rather than mooncalf Adrian Brody.
