Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Ross M — 08 Apr 2009
The story revolves around the suicide/murder of the the original superman George Reeves in the 1950's, and the investigation of his death by Adrien Brody's freelance detective. Both Adrien Brody and Ben Affleck, who plays Reeves, are compelling, with the film flipping back and fourth between the life of Reeves and the investigation.
But as good as the detective element is, your always much more interested in the sections about Reeves.
