Review of Hollywoodland (2006) by Alison O — 17 Aug 2009
I usually think Ben Affleck is best behind the camera, but this film is a rare exception where he really becomes the part. Adrien Brody (the only fictional main character) is a good focus to take us throughout the historical events, bringing a personal touch to the unglamorous parts of the golden age of Hollywood.
Costumes and scenery are great.
