Review of Hollow Man (2000) by Baurushan J — 10 Jul 2012
The story is about a group of laboratory scientists led by Sebastian Caine who have assigned onto a secret military research team. Their task is to invent a serum that can turn living tissues invisible.
After the serum has successfully worked on animals, their task is to now invent another serum than turn them visible again. Unfortunately no one noticed that this can only work on animals after testing them both on their gorilla Isabelle, an impatient Sebastian takes the risk wanting himself to be invisible too without knowing the side effects.
After he is unable to be visible again, he goes insane amongst his friends of homicidal rage. A strong blast of scientific education to the audience with mild action and horror sequences and a well chosen cast.
Kevin Bacon owned as the title character and the slogan "THINK YOU'RE ALONE? THINK AGAIN!" still remains famously catchy. Hollow Man gets a 10/10.
