Review of Hogfather (2007) by Erin M — 05 Dec 2007
It's funny, witty, mildly moving, and has death dressed up like santa.
You can't go wrong.
It's a adaptation of a terry pratchett novel. a book late in the discworld series. a series featuring 40+ books. a series which having seen this, I will definitely start reading. i'm surprised I haven't already.
The movie is set on an alternate world, similar and yet so very different from our own.
The Hogfather is their version of santa, and some evil baddies are out to get him, and all the critters of fairy tales that give us something to believe in. -__-.
The bastards.
So death lends a very long skeletal hand, with his butler albert. and his granddaughter susan, who likes to poke at monsters with a ...poker...
Yea anyway. I really don't want to spoil this one, cause it's neat.
Very witty. and I think everyone should see it.
