A brilliant movie, although I hadn't read the book the realm of discworld is familiar to me and thus I could get the most out of the movie. The story was great with the relationship of Death and his granddaughter and the visuals were astounding for merely a TV movie. I first saw the latter discworld movie "The colour of magic" which I'd already read as a book and this one was even better than that one.
If you're up for a good dose of weird fantasy comedy and have an open mind you'll enjoy this one.
