Review of Hoffa (1992) by Sheila C — 07 Aug 2008
I know it's a great film and all that, but despite me trying to like it, I just couldn't sit through the whole thing.
DeVito tried making this his "Citizen Kane", u can tell by many references, but unfortunately he's too focused on the visual techniques and too in-awe of his own subject that he forgets that there's an audience that has possibly never heard of Hoffa and unless u make an engaging piece of film, that audience will just change the channel.
It's a little boring, un-involving and looooong.
