Review of Hocus Pocus (1984) by Maria C — 28 Oct 2015
A movie that is enjoyable but just did not focus on the three main stars of the film. Bette Midler Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy were the movie. I found myself wanting more of them and their antic's than the teens and the little girl or even Binx the cat. Their is a lot of dialogue that revolved around "virgins" with Max. I felt quite bored with that complete stenotype of the character. The ending was " A typical Disney good people win ending" but was a sweet moment but ended far too early for the average Disney movie.
In my opinion This movie is quite enjoyable, and not lack luster in the slightest. the two songs in this movie were spectacular, the dialogue is funny and gut busting. If Disney wants to make a sequel than make it but give more time and effort with the witches and not meddling humans that want them dead!
