Some fun elements are there, and there are a few nice nods to the source material it's based on, but never completely gels together. Visually slick, but narratively empty, with too many long stretches of talking and some of the action in the latter half isn't even pulled off by its titular character.
Just another disappointingly safe video game adaptation.
