Review of Hitman: Agent 47 (2015) by Mazmorrero47 — 20 Aug 2015
With Fantastic Four and now Hitman: Agent 47, Fox underestimated the intelligence of its audience by believing they will swallow anything that comes from a known IP. It's borderline comical how they had a second chance to do justice to the wonderful Hitman series, and they hired the same writer behind the 2007 disaster (not to mention the butchering of Wolverine and John McClane) for the reboot (Skip Woods, who is probably not even a real person, just a pen name execs use when they get direct creative input in a script).
I feel bad for Rupert Friend, because he's a really good actor and deserves better. Mad Max: Fury Road puts cashgrabs like this to shame.
