Review of Hitman (2007) by Ryan K — 15 May 2010
A better movie than it has any right to be. The plot, to the extent that there is one, is an excuse for the action scenes, and every character except Agent 47 comes straight from the big book o' B-grade action movie cliches. That said, we couldn't have really expected for much better.
The action sequences are competently shot and edited together coherently, traits which are becoming increasingly rare in Hollywood. There's some "WOW" factor to the sets and cinematography, also - the movie just LOOKS really cool. If you're looking for something to kill a boring afternoon with, you could do much worse.
