A film with a great potential storyline (aren't all films based on computer games?!) that doesn't develop it's interesting premise and fails on most levels because of this. The idea of a professional killer framed for a crime he didn't commit is nothing new but this could have been so much better if anyone involved actually bothered to put any effort into it. Usually this can be blamed on the actors but the main culprits here are the scriptwriter and director. Their are way too many plotholes here and it's clear that the film has been cut to ribbons as some of the edits are just plain odd.

I've always had time for Olyphant, even if he is hated by most reviewers. I think there's a potential for greatness there once he gets the right role. He has an intensity to him that I find very engaging and even when he is miscast (as in Die Hard 4) he is still interesting. Here he tries his best but he is in essence playing a 'robot' and can't make the character a real human being. Scott is trying hard (or at least playing the part of someone who cares) but any tension with his character is lost with the silly prologue. Kurylenko is pretty awful but pretty and yes she gets her tits out, if you're interested! Being a Lost fan I was interested to see Cusick in the film but he is barely in it for 5 seconds!

Overall, a waste of my evening watching this and another example of a computer game that doesn't translate well to film.
