Review of Hitman (2007) by Lee B — 17 Jul 2010
Okay, let me ask you, if you are a wanted Hitman who is on the run with Interpol and the Russian SS after you and had a bar code tatooed to your bald head, - don't you think that you'd be easily identifiable? It's this premise that "Hitman" overlooks, favoring style and substance over story and common sense as the secret order political conspiracy theory just comes off half-baked and cliched.
Occasionally there were some signs of life and intensity, but "Hitman" never really captures a moment that is pure excitement except for a brief scene with Desmond from "Lost". In the end, there were so many bald men and crappy Russian accents, I thought this film should be retitled "The Secret Story of Mr.
Clean".
