Review of Hitman (2007) by Jonathan R — 18 Aug 2012
''Make a sound; i'll end your life, you understand?'' The original assassin is back. If you were a 90's kid, you grew up with Sega and PS2, Tom Clancy, and ultimately a fan of the successful (and soon returning) Hitman series, you're going to relish this cinematic take on the original secret assassin: no.
47. He's retained his trademark gritty and un-merciless persona, but his quiet wit and intelligence shines through. look out for his ironic hotel exit strategy taken from 'contracts'; blowing the doors, and pursuing Russian secret police from his room, leaping from the balcony at the end of a rope and crashing through a window below, greeted by two bemused children and a subtle exiting shot of them playing the original Hitman 1' game on their ancient Crt tv.
Guns, women, martial arts, fast cars and stunning visuals; you're not a real man if this doesn't hit your favourite action flics'list.
