Review of Hitman (2007) by Jack P — 01 Jan 2014
FLOPMAN..
Hitman tries to give a suspenseful narrative style but bored the hell out of me. Few action sequences were enjoyable but just at par apart from that it falls flat. Performances were poor and the bad script and dialogues made this movie based on video game(never heard about it until I saw the movie) even worse. The story of a assassin who looked like computer programmed robot(that's how he was supposed to be though..ugh) drawn into political conspiracy did not generate much interest either. Overall Hitman may please a few people who like such game-based action flicks but in general it's unlikely this movie will impress someone at random with high chances it may frustrate more often.
/timothy-olyphant/">Timothy Olyphant). He works for some group called 'The Organization' where he also raised and trained to become hitman. He is on mission to kill the Russian president where he gets trapped in pursuit by the Interpol and Russian military and plus has to intercept a woman called Nika(Olga Kurylenko) who the The Organization claims to be a witness of the assassination }}.
Well some of the action scenes were good especially a sword fight between 4 agents but those got unnecessarily violent at times. Timothy Olyphant looked stable as 47 but none of the other performances were memorable. Nothing special in the background score and music zone. I can't remember much to write about as I was yawning most of the times when there was no action sequence or some suspense being built/there is a twist. Personally I hated this movie badly but I won't say everyone will hate this.
Hitman was a flop for me.
