Review of Hitman (2007) by Guido S — 20 Feb 2014
As a fan of the game, I was excited to see this one. Starts off with Agent 47 as a kid and reminds me a lot of the opening of Dark Angel. Then the story unfolds through the present of Agent 47 at a guys house and the recent past leading up to that.
This could have been good, but it starts to abandon the idea about 20 minutes in and becomes a generic action movie with overdone ideas. The rest of the movie is mostly forgettable and isn't any fun.
The payoff when the two stories meet isn't worth the wait either. Hopefully the reboot they are planning will improve on these failures.
