Mirren outclasses the entire cast including Hopkins who over acts like never before. Unfortunately for Mirren - this material is awful, uninteresting, and managed by a hack. This movie probably played out as a nightmare for the legendary director at one point in his later life - "gosh, someone is going to make a silly bio-pic about me one day.
