Review of History of the World: Part I (1981) by Bob V — 01 May 2011
Not one of Mel Brooks' truly genius creations, but still chock-full of chuckles, especially the largest mid-section set in Roman times. Containing the usual Brooks absurdist yet in an odd way coherent style & his regular stock of actors, you can't say it gets dull, but it seems like you've seen it before and the director is rehashing his own more inspired efforts at times.
