Review of History of the World: Part I (1981) by Ray C — 05 Dec 2014
I thoroughly enjoyed this Mel Brooks effort, turning his satirical gaze towards history, much as Monty Python did in their last three films. Narrated perfectly by none other than Orson Welles, one can only hope that, given Mel's recent success on Broadway with The Producers and Young Frankenstein, that he will come out of retirement and show recent people who have spoofed genres with far less success, how to do things properly with Part II.
