One of the most hilarious movies of cinema history! The chemistry between Grant and Russell is amazing. Very funny and clever dialogues, brilliant acting and great plot. What else can you ask for?
As the script is based on a stage play called 'the front page', it sometimes gets a little bit theatrical but never gets boring. Just dont expect any of todays movie actions:) The story takes place indoors and there are lots of lots of fast talking, you really have to pay attention to keep up with!
Cary Grant is as charming as a man can be but I belive, this hilarious movie belongs to Rosalind Russell!
Her performance is stunning! She is funny, charming and shining. I really wonder why she never won any of these little Oscars even though she was nominated for four times!
