Fans of Grant, Russell or Hawks won't be left disappointed by this light comedy. Unfortunately but understandably, it was always obvious that Cary and Roz would end up together but one gets used to predicting such a happy ending! It was an enjoyable movie with a lot of sharp dialogue (with Cary, as ever, delivers with trademark class).
The convicted murderer plot gave the story a new dimension and personally I think it worked. I'd definitely recommend this film.
