Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Freaky M — 26 Jan 2006
Wow, I haven't been on here in quite some time. I'm sure no one really cares what I've been up to, but I'll indulge myself nonetheless. I go to Hofstra University on Long Island now, and I'm studying creative studies.
I took a class called film masterpieces there, and I basically became an elitist film snob, overnight. I even started a club on campus devoted to watching foreign/indie/classic films, called The Snobby Filmists.
Anyways, I think I may just post occasionally to amuse myself. I'm on winter break still, and I go back on Monday. Um...
I just bought a crapload of old foreign films, to educate myself more in classic film. I just watched Hiroshima Mon Amour, today. Yeah, so I guess I'll stick around for awhile.
Oooh, I also packed tonight because I'm sleeping at my friend's dorm in Queens tomorrow. I usually hate sleeping anywhere but my bed or a hotel, but whatever. I'll get used to it..
