Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Giuseppe S — 20 Feb 2008
Love and War...and Death. It made me think of Hemingway and of his two marvelous novels abou war. It made me think of Casablanca, and indeed that movie is in a way quoted in the story. It developes in a complex, but not messy, manner.
Made of memories and dialogues, with images to comment them. Surely a unique experience!
