Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Philippe F — 27 Nov 2008
A befuddling film about love, memory and loss that is not for everyone, its lack of any solid timeline and plot can certainly alienate. However, if you're in the mood for broody b&w images and a somber mood piece, this is your pick.
I definitely prefer Resnais' more accessible films.
