Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Meredith D — 26 May 2010
Atmospheric, intelligent, and reflective, this mood piece is a staple of the French New Wave, as well as modernism. A real treat to all film buffs, many will revel at the labyrinth-like script provided by Duras and the passionate acting displayed throughout.
A must-see.
