Of course Emily Watson and Rachel Griffiths are phenomenal, but James Frain is the most underrated actor in the world, and this film shows exactly why. His performance is perfection. This film is also emotionally wrenching, with a haunting score that draws from the real Jacqueline du Pre's recordings.
