This is my first private entry to you all (Yes, the first ten peeps from the top of my friend's list - I listed you all alphabetically).

I am about to go to bed now.

But I am also somewhat excitied, anxious, worried, hyped about this job interview (well, more or less) tomorrow.

My mother got direct connection (through a very distant relative, but both of them are really close) and she hooked me up to see this CEO (once again, through the aid of her distant cousin) of a clothing brand (Yes, he owes the freaking stores and factories across Malaysia and China).

The good thing about this job is that I'll be able to relocate to Hong Kong (I lost many contacts of my old friends there, but on the plus side, I have zero relatives there. Believe me, I've had enough of them here lately). I think I'll feel much more comfortable living there. I really need a new start.

However, I also don't want to leave my mother alone here taking of my granny. Yes, she's been a lot nicer these days but her health also seems to decline very fast recently. And I really couldn't bare to leave her alone taking care of my granny, as she's seriously overweight and keeps gaining weight a lot lately (which is really bad for her as she can barely walk now, her upper-body is too heavy for her to walk).

The thing is, I know I shouldn't think too far ahead because I haven't even met this person yet. But my mother is pretty positive that I'll be able to get the job offer. And it just really depends on the wages as well as if I'm up for it.

He's specifically looking for a personal secretary and I know this sounds not a great job. But here in Korea, you can make a great income if you works for a big firm as a personal secretary (I would much rather wanted to become a personal shopper, really). But due to my (or our family's) financial circumstances, this is the FxxKING fat chance for me - to be able to support both myself and my mother (only child and only parent here).

The only obstace is that I might not be qualified due to my lack of fluency (particularly in writing and reading. Heck, that's why I'm in Korea for - to master my Korean language). On the positive note, he's looking for a personal secretary who is fluent in English, Mandarin (I speak Cantonese as well, so that's a bonus) as well as Korean (well, I hope I can impress him enough).

I'm feeling all giddy now. I just wish I can present myself appropriate as well as in the best manner so that even if I don't get the job, I'll leave a good impression (because I got referred through my mother's relative and I don't want to screw up badly to both parties).

Anyhow....wish me luck...

And also, please keep this private. I'm not too comfortable sharing about my personal things in public. Much appreciated!
