Review of Highwaymen (2004) by Justin T — 09 Dec 2015
When I finally got the chance to see the film, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting more of a horror/thriller film, but instead it more resembled the weird existential angst of Medium Cool or Vanishing Point.
The score was unsettling, the cast was consistently fascinating and the cars... oh, the cars. I have to admit that I fell in love when the first seven minutes of the film had no dialogue, just the slow spooling out of images.
