A sort of hit-and-miss sci-fi/fantasy/action/romance hybrid, about a race of immortals who meet every so often to decapitate one another with ancient priceless swords until they are all wiped out because.
.. well... "There Can Be Only One". More interesting than the sequels or the television series, though admittedly the most interesting aspect is Queen's fantastic soundtrack album, A KIND OF MAGIC.
All in all, it's worth at least one viewing, but you're really better off just skipping the film and buying the soundtrack instead.
