Review of Highlander (1986) by Mike Y — 27 Nov 2010
First of all, I loved the concept and this ranks in my top 5 movies of all time, and depending on the day, ranks #1. Second, the acting was great - at least from Connery and Clancy. Third, The Kurgen (Clancy) may be the greatest villain ever -- badass with a subtle sense of humor.
Finally, the soundtrack was spectacular with Queen. Ok, I'm a sucker for good sci-fi/fantasy but this one is simply great. Only 24 years late on the review, but just dragged it out and watched it again and loved it.
