Review of Higher Learning (1995) by Alex V — 23 Jan 2008
John Singleton tries his hand at painting a poignant and somewhat disturbing look at 1990's college life. Mediocre, with some okay performances, and mostly throws the racial feuds of neo-Nazis vs. African-Americans to the forefront of the film.
Singleton's thoughts on the racial issues on campuses is a significant lesson to be learned from this film, however. I enjoyed the film.
