Review of High Sierra (1941) by Scott H — 30 Jul 2009
While watching High Sierra I couldn't shake the feeling that the book will probably be better than the film. Many aspects of it appeared to be stock standard of Bogart films (not that that detracts from the fun of it), however a lot of elements of the storyline seemed to have no bearing on the end product.
The resolution was, to me, an unsatisfying end to an average film.
