Review of High-Rise (2015) by Lenny R — 06 Feb 2017
Looks great, interesting premise (I haven't read the book), with interesting performances by a skilled cast (including BOTH Siennas! Wow!), but it could possibly have done with an extra, like, hour's worth of story development; everything just falls apart too quickly and easily to make complete sense or be particularly engrossing.
I didn't find Jeremy Irons as annoying as usual, though, which might be the film's crowning achievement.
