Review of High Noon (2009) by Michelle F — 01 Jun 2011
It's about Lieutenant Phoebe McNamara, a hostage negotiator for the police. She dates the bar-owner Duncan and has a daughter and tries to combine her motherhood with her lovelife. While she does that, she gets stalked by a psycho who wants to take revenge.
Interesting movie.. Not bad at all. :) It takes some time to get into the story, but if you're in, you just wanna see how the story goes further and further, and you don't wanna miss a minute! In the beginning it's a typical whodunnit-film but later it gets more of a pychological thriller and you really get interested in the motive of the killer.
Definitely very amusing and every minute thrilling! Typically Nora Roberts-style. Not the greatest movie I've ever seen, a bit predictable in some way, but absolutely interesting to watch. Recommend for lovers of the romance/thriller genre ;).
