Rob Gordon has been the idol of many a dude, most of them closet romantics, who seem to be forever caught in the spiral of relating life to pop culture. All I can say is that I saw High Fidelity at a very influential time in my life, and I too wanted to be Rob Gordon when I grew up.
High Fidelity inspired me to buy a record player and its soundtrack scored several years of my youth. I have since moved on, but this movie will always be awesome.
