Review of High Fidelity (2000) by Matt M — 31 Mar 2013
A male perspective confessional about being an adult. A man in his late twenties starts reflecting on why his girlfriend left him by going through his past relationships and analysing his life. A lot of the audience will find it comforting, but the channel-surfing style prevents a lot of emotional connection with the storyline.
Still, the fact that Cusack kills as the desperate romantic loser and the great soundtrack which plays a big part in the film add to the film.
