Review of High Anxiety (1977) by Joe M — 19 Aug 2012
(4 Stars) Mel Brooks' High Anxiety is a very funny Alfred Hitchcock homage told through some great jokes. The greatest hits of Hitch are parodied including Psycho, The Birds, Vertigo, North By Northwest, and much more.
I know it's not as well known or quoted as Brooks' films (other than a great "fruit cup" line), but at a short 94 minutes, the film doesn't overstay its welcome and is definitely worth viewing whether you're a Hitchcock or Brooks fan.
