Review of High Anxiety (1977) by Heather B — 27 May 2006
Today I watched High Anxiety. I recently purchased the Mel Brooks Collection Set, simply because I adore Robin Hood: Men In Tights. I had only seen 2 out of the 8 movies included in the set (the aforementioned Robin Hood, as well as Young Frankenstein), so I'll be reviewing a lot of Mel Brooks films in the next little while. I'm currently 5/8. .
It was a film that definately had it's highlights (that being the Psycho shower scene parady, for the most part), but was a little slow in the opening (in fact, it didn't get very interesting until the Psycho scene). Was fun to spot all of the Hitchcock references. Madeleine Kahn was excellent. .

Other than that, not much to speak of..

The Opinion: Has it's moments but is ultimately unfulfilling..
