The great thing I love about this movie is just when you think it's winding down, it's just getting started. The first time I ever watched this movie, I thought it was over. Turned out it was only halfway through and the good stuff had just begun.
Kurosawa surprised me with this one. I had watched Dreams before this and absolutely hated that movie. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this. Turns out I freakin' loved it!!
