High and Low is a superb film. The script, acting and direction are all outstanding. The pacing seemed a little slow, but it wasn't terrible. There were some scenes near the end that totally blew me away.
It's a very deep film that demands your attention, and deserves it. Toshiro Mifune is also an amazing actor. Great detective movie. Overall 3.5/4 Stars Grade = B+.
