Review of High and Low (1933) by Vicky V — 22 Jun 2007
Starts out almost Hithcock-like, then turns into Tokyo 5-0, and ends with some of the most beautiful and haunting imagery I've seen on film. An interesting look at the value of human life and class difference that never gets preachy.
Highly, highly recommended.
