I feel as if the book must be better since there seems to be a lot of interest in it. The film, however, leaves a bit to be desired. I honestly wouldn't have seen it if it had starred anyone but Kate Winslet.

I felt as if we were missing details necessary to the narrative throughout. The two young actresses played great roles, however.
