Review of Hide and Seek (2005) by 6 6 6 — 14 Sep 2008
As a horror movie fanatic, I didn't think this was that great. It had great potential in the beginning then it began unwinding about halfway through with sloppy dialogue and a "surprise" ending that was blatantly obvious for any audience member with half a brain.
There were undeniable parallels between Fanning's character and Winona Ryder's "Lydia" in Beetlejuice, especially during the dinner scene when she comes to the table in almost the same outfit Lydia wore in the film.
Kind of dumb.
