Review of Hidden Figures (2016) by Rube — 26 Feb 2017
This is a gorgeous movie, featuring an amazing cast.
From the very first moment in the movie I was hooked. I really wanted to see how Theodore Melfi adapted Margot Lee Shetterly's book. But more importantly I wanted to see Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson's story. I was not disappointed. Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe were phenomenal. Not only was this a movie I'd happily watch at the cinema multiple times, but I will be rushing out to buy the Blu-ray the moment it comes out.
