Review of Hey... Stop Stabbing Me! (2003) by Kaustubh P — 12 Feb 2009
Hey...stop stabbing me is not a low-budget movie- it's a no-budget movie. It seems the whole movie was made over a weekend but that doesn't stop it from being one the funniest films I've ever seen.
The plot revolves around a world historian who digs holes for a living, a serial killer who buries people in his garden, a guy who calls himself Charteuse, a hairy monster who lives in the basement and likes to steal socks & an 'energetic' girlfriend.
The dialogues are insane. The 'acting' is superb. How the hell did the actors manage to keep a straight face throughout baffles me. This movie is a gem but sadly such films rarely get the praise they deserve.
I hope the movie reaches a larger audience.
