A good theme song makes this movie seem better than it actually is. Not a BAD movie, but it doesn't offer much to remember. They've tried to make it a little less predictable than a regular David vs Goliath sports theme movie, but that only results in contrived and inexplicable drama.
I guess you can excuse that since this is a Bollywood movie, but the drama is too short-lived to make any impact.
