Review of Hey Arnold! The Movie (2002) by Jonathan A — 21 Nov 2010
Arnold and Gerald go after a megalomaniac executive who wants to knock down their neighborhood into a mega-mall, after they find out it's a historical landmark. Disappointing re-hash of a similarly-themed early episode from the TV-series that's been drawn out to feature-length.
They could have gone out with something more wholly original to constitute the excuse for a movie, but this is no better than a mediocre TV special. Humor was okay, but this was just a missed opportunity to make a more profound message than many previous episodes had.
