Review of Hesher (2010) by Ben Y — 12 Dec 2011
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is barely recognizable in this role as a drifter who seems to have some sage like wisdom every now and then, even if it is laced with profanity. Hesher is an interesting movie, dealing with death, grief and bullies as no other film does, and it has decent acting pretty much all the way around.
It is not a movie for everyone, but it is worth seeing if you are up for it.
