Review of Hero (2002) by Marc L — 18 Oct 2009
More action-oriented than Zhang Yimou's dramatic film House of Flying Daggers - but probably the most visually arresting film you will ever see. I don't know what opera is like but I want to use the word operatic all over this review.
It's more fast-paced than Daggers too. Highly recommended, great fun, with a good bedtime-story style plot.
